English: News Roundup

Wotcha y'all, the sun is showing it's head, Spring is on it's way, and this means we're all hard at work with lots of bikes leaving our factory to go to new homes. While this is going on I'm head deep in Excel spreadsheets trying to work out specs on our 2007 bikes... yeowch!

As always, I'll try and keep you Anglophone readers up to date with recent developments down here in Grenoble; in descending order:

Fist Race of the Year:
The 2007 season starts here; with the first round of the Rhone Alpes XC Cup held this weekend down in the deep South of France near Privas. Various Team and Co-Fac Riders were present, and everyone starting off their seasons nice and steady by safely placing within the top ten! Next weekend is the Cassis Cup, and we'll all be out in force for that one - including yours truly making his first race appearance for 18 months!

The DH boys have yet to make their virgin appearances this year, but Cyrille Kurts, Esteban and the rest have all been out hammering their Harissa's, or getting in some final high-altitude skiing to boost fitness.

Various Vario Riders News:
Romain Desoutter is our resident FR star at 7Laux ski resort (see the link on the right there...) and the sweet pic is of him shortly before an "end of season" injury. Get well soon!

The photo below shows one of the guys who make Vario the place it is: Vincent Haulet getting in some training against some serious competition!

First Show of the Year:
Back at the beginning of March the van was loaded with demo bikes and our big boss headed off to Hungary for their annual trade show. Vario was well received and we're hoping this will be another country won over by the Vario touch!
