Team Vario Châtel 06 news– 07/06

Results of the races, French Cup of Montgenèvre
XC
Fanny Bourdon still charmed us this weekend on this national serie, because she finishes 2nd junior. This podium confirms the great form of Fanny this season, we await impatiently the French championship to see what the miss reserves to us!
Célia Bourgeois finishes 10th scratch, it is a very good place when you known that she connected its season of ski touring and MTB, and that she is currently in temporary rest. Benoît Thiery finishes 35th scratch, it is his best national result this season, whereas it was with us the day before of the race to make accompanied excursions, Benoît cheer!

Trial
Our only Trial pilot in race was Paulo which after a race in the head finishes 4th of the Nationale category, a beautiful result very of same which will enable him to grow up of Expert category the next year if he continues like that.
Thibault and Marius were with us in Passportes, they thus did not run this round.

DH
Sophie Borderes makes the best place of the Team, by finishing 4th female whereas it returns from wound. Florent Wolter is 12th scratch race, while Esteban falls and finishes 37th, Benji Fretti is 41th, and Adrien Panzutti 51th.
Floriane and Alexis did not roll, because they are all the 2 wounded, Flo recovers quickly while Alex will have to await the French championships to ride.

DH World cup
Cyrille Kurtz was in Balnéario Camboriu in Brazil for the 5th round of the world cup of DH, he finishes in a very beautiful 27th place scratch while being 4th French!

Passportes du Soleil
All the team staff was this week end on the show of Passportes in Châtel, with MTB in tests, pilots in demonstrations, and accompanied ride; all on the objectives of the cameras.
Romain Desoutter, Bucheron 25 and Fabien Balizet for Freeride were present (with unfortunately a fall for Romain which will block it until the end of the season), Benoît for the XC, Thibault and Marius for Trial, and Floriane and Esteban for the DH;
So, a package of pilots for a super environment under the Vario stand! !

Indeed, the pilots and the sun being part, we benefitted from this event to test the innovations of Bike Park de Châtel (the Cha-nada news is really good for the experienced pilots!), and to still make many images for our next DVD, to discover at the end of the season!

Appointment!
The next weekend the European championships of DH take place, and Floriane and Sophie will represent the Team and France of junior category, and we hope really a big success!
