English: Roundup of things

No English news for a while, so we'll kick off with the latest info from James Dower, our Youth Male rider in the UK.

He's already turning in some solid results on his new 2006 spec Harissa, currently a highly respectable 11th from 53 in the Dragon series. A good steady start to the year James, Top Work!

While I remember, there's also some Vario's on two of our favourite websites;

First a nice picture of (we think) Paul Aston - standing in for Ben Caldwell over on Descent World (about half way down the page)

And in case you've not seen it; a sparkling review of the 2005 Harissa on long-term test over at Southern Downhill that went up a few weeks ago and I forgot to mention on here.

So, onto other news, roughly tranlated from Francais into something resembling English; and running from top to bottom:

Testing:
In addition to new team sponsors Chatel & Quad Brakes, we are delighted that Marzocchi are helping us this year. Their suspension geni; Stephane Guillaume spent two days with us on the side of the infamous Mt Ventoux in Provence recently, in order to set the suspension on Cyrille Kurtz and Floriane Pugin's bikes.

Hope:
Hope have made up some limited edition brakes, which are available as an upgrade on any UK-spec 2006 Vario. Sexy all-black design, Vario logo engraved into the top cap, braided hoses and gun-metal bore caps.

Hungry?
We're Hungry for sucssess in Hungary, with Suppan Marton riding, and winning, with our bikes in their national series. Well done chap!

More Podiums:
The season is well underway now and in the Regional French Cups we have enjoyed another rash of podiums for Team Vario.

So; that's all for now:

The team guys are all at Lyon this weekend for the Avalanche Cup which will have a big turnout from Team Vario. Not only a great event (in our "backyard", but also a first chance to see the big guns, such as Minaar, Barel & Gracia in 2006 race action!

Then early next week they will be packing their flip-flops and heading over to Vigo in Spain for the real test, DH WC 1!
